If I were a Burglar I would have selected your vehicle because..
You left packages/gifts/purse/briefcase/laptop in plain view. Be sure items are out of sight, preferably locked in the trunk.
You left your cell phone or radar detector in plain view.
You did not lock your doors and/or left your windows down.
SAFETY TIPS:
1. Always lock your car.
2. Do not leave valuables in plain view. Even a power cord may tempt a thief.
3. Do not leave anything with sensitive information on it in your car. Thieves can use your personal information from insurance cards, bills, or other items to commit fraud in your name.
4. Park in well-lighted areas, as close to the building entrance as possible.
